I bought the wattson energy meter a while ago after a friend recommend it to me. It tells you how much electricity you are using (wasting), you can make such a difference by turning off lights and TVs on standby. Would recommend it to anyone.

does anyone know how much sunlight the sun jar needs to work? Not much sun up here in Scotland during the winter months!

    Hi Helen,
From speaking to a few people who have one, it seems the Sun Jar works pretty well with only a small amount of direct sunshine each day. Living in North Wales I think it would struggle up here during winter, to fix this the manufacturers suggest switching it off when it’s charging (as a last resort you can charge the batteries in a battery charger).

If you buy it and it doesn’t work Ethical Superstore say you can return items within 60 days (keep the original packaging!)

    Cheers, Dave.
